Tasting Notes
Remarkably brilliant with rich fruit and balanced acidity, this wine shows fragrant citrus blossom and honeysuckle
aromas, with lemon bar, lychee nut and key-lime expanding on a lingering finish.

Few Semillons show their richness and complexity as those produced in Washington State. Our cool harvest nights help to ensure crisp natural acidity, making this a wonderful food pairing wine. Try it with a goat cheese appetizer, spicy seafood or your traditional Thanksgiving turkey and

Wine Advocate

The 2009 Semillon contains 17% Sauvignon Blanc in the blend. Semillon has long been a specialty of the winery and this does not disappoint. The wine was 100% barrel-fermented followed by 50% aging in barrel (10% new) and 50% in stainless steel on the lees. Mineral, baking spices, and melon scents inform the nose of a creamy-textured, spicy, well-balanced wine that offers outstanding value. It will provide much enjoyment over the next 1-2 years.
